Dato' Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi,
Prime Minister of Malaysia
First let me congratulate you for being able to win and maintain a barisan nasional government for Malaysia.
I have received responses and explanations from all opposition heads when I wrote to them and I hope you will not be an exception.
During the whole session of the interview, I was disappointed to realise that you did not at any point of time mention the fact that the main factor for the overwhelming support given to the opposition was due to the VK Lingamgate fiasco. It can be clearly seen that the rakyat was gravely affected by the fiasco that they have lost all respect for our judiciary and its related system. How can the country accomodate judges who are not only corrupt but also so idiotic. Then I cannot understand why you were harping on the fact that we still have our "undang undang". It would have been to your utmost advantage if you had immediately looked into the issue, rectify the situation and restore law and order instead of that unnecessary long winded and money wasting royal commission. The issue brought up by DSAI is so clear and straight forward. I suspect you had to take that stand because of Dr M for selecting you to be the PM. Please remember that Dr M have a lot of grievances and hatred in his emotions. Dia menzalimi DSAI because DSAI refuse to agree to use the government machinery to help out his family problems.
From my point of view the main culprit here is still the great Dr M. He is the one to blame for the this legal fiasco but I cannot understand why you still agree to the nomination of the winning candidate for Putra Jaya when he was shown to be clearly involved in this legal fiasco. Is it due to the fact that Dr M has still got a strong influence on UMNO for such decision. Please accept the fact that Dr M is already irrelevant. I cannot understand why you choose to keep relatively quiet when you were attacked by Dr M but you became fierce when it comes to DSAI. It should have been the other way round and some votes for the opposition may have gone to BN.
Anyway the main reason for me to write to you is to let you know that it is important for you to realise that Dr M has been very influential in determining the result of the recently concluded 2008 elections. He managed to convince his moronic and hardcore UMNO supporters to stay away from voting and thats why you seem to lose all the support where it matters. Those supporters would definitely not vote for DSAI or the opposition front. All the votes that went for the opposition this time were genuine votes of people who are against corruption, nepotism, cronyism, idiosynchroyism, idiojudicioism dan apa apa lain yang sewaktu dengan nya.
It is timely now that I suggest that you do not waste anymore time and act quickly to determine who these people sleeping under the same blanket with you are surely and steadily undermining your front. After that is done it will be wise for you to gather all those people genuinely loyal to you to join up with the oppositon and form the new govenment with a better and strong majority( not necessarily 2/3rd).
I have suggested to PKR, PAS and DAP on the need for uniting under just one banner and organisation and I am quite sure welcoming you and your gang to unite under this banner will be betterfor them. Let Dr M and his cronies be in the opposition to provide effective criticism if they can.
This front may not be able to take full control of all the state governments but thats OK because we can let the rakyat determine whether they still need those governments in the next election. What is more important is the change of the present Malaysian government as desired by the masses.
Regards,
Wan Ishak Wan Mahmood
